Comments about Gran Habano #1 Connecticut Churchill Single Cigar:
I have purchased a number of these cigars through Thompson's auction site at a substantial savings to the price indicated.
The Churchill has a nice looking two piece band which compliments the light Connecticut wrapper. Initial aroma of the unlit cigar is of mild tobacco and black pepper. Cut is uneventful and clean. Initial draws reveal the milder tobacco flavor and a medium tasting pepper which approaches medium/full by the middle of the smoke.
Cigar mellows from the middle to end of the smoke with the pepper dancing on the front of the tongue. Smoke last about 50 minutes.
In summary, a very nice cigar experience with greater flavor profile than advertised (does it for me!). Cigar is heartily recommended at a lower price point than indicated that may be had at auction or on special. Savor your cigars.
