These came in a sampler that I purchased and I was surprised that they have such an attractive price. My personal taste is typically fuller flavor offerings by AJ Fernandez (Diesel and others), Rocky Patel and La Gloria Cubana, (with occasional Cameroon like Fuente or Oliva). I found these cigars pleasant with good flavor and burn and was surprised that they were quite inexpensive. I would recommend these as a great, budget friendly everyday offering. I did let them rest a bit before smoking, so I can't say how they are immediately out of the package. Overall, they are a good bang for the buck buy from Thompson.

Got these in dynamic 90 sampler. These were the only disappointments. Great construction, smooth draw, but the taste had spice and that's all. All in all, they were okay but I would not buy them individually.

This is a great tasting cigar. The wrapper burns evenly although, the only reason this did not get 5 stars is the wrapper seems to have a tendency to slightly unravel. Other than that this cigar is superb!

Bought these at Thompsons wonderful auction and brought them to my military buddies and were an instant hit.We are heavy Monte Cristo and Gurkha followers but these were wonderful tasting, easy lighting, same great taste end to end with slight leathery undertones and and a mildly spicey filler. The only thing lacking here was the uneven burn of the wrapper. (still maintained a respectable ash)If these were constructed a bit better, this would rate higher than 90 in my humble opinion. Well worth the price of admission folks !!!

Not as good as I'd hoped. Uneven burn. Nice aroma, slightly bitter/chemical flavor. Kept in a humidor and seemed fresh, but not a great one for me. Surprised it got such a high CA rating...maybe mine was a bad one?
