    Hygrometer needed to be calibrated, but I feel like they all do. And even if it doesn't it's nice to test it to know it's correct. It's simple though. Some salt, water, and a screwdriver is all you need to calibrate it. The humidifier Works just fine as long as you follow the instructions. No batteries or moving parts, which is awesome. Relatively easy to keep the humidity at 75. Humidor is very nicely made. Hard to beat for the price.

    I bought this humidor in a combo deal, humidor butane lighter and a 20 cigar sampler. I love the humidor its very nice quality and construction awesome hinges and has a good seal. I had trouble with the hygrometer reading 80% all the time until I did the salt calibration test on it now its right on the money. I have smoked about 8 of the cigars I recieved with the humidor and have enjoyed all of them.

        Not a bad humidor for the money. I only smoke 2-3 cigars per week and didn't want one of the bigger Humidors. This one is just the right size for me. Like comments form others I've had to do a little adjustments to the humidifier and hygrometer to get it working well. The humidifier stays put fine under the lid with the included velcro tape.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Very nice humidor for beginners and aficionados alike, I was able to get 50 cigars of different types and sizes to fit comfortably without squishing any; the included hygrometer works great AFTER YOU CALIBRATE IT PROPERLY USING THE SALT METHOD but the included humidifier sucks and does not provide adequate humidity so I bought a better one and now my humidor is excellent!!!

        I got the humidor because I don't smoke often enough to buy more than two or three cigars a time and this works great for lager number of cigar.

        the out side look really good and it hold a lot of cigars. It seem to be holding a good seal. I like how the humidifier and hygrometer have a little place in the lid for them.

        Like I said, I really like the way it looks on the outside but I am not really impressed buy they craftsmanship. On the one I got the wood is cracked on one of the corners and not all the joints are as tight as I would like.
