Comments about Casa Torano Maduro Toro Single Cigar:
Nice appearance, slightly mottled dark brown wrapper. It has a few light veins. There are a few lumps, soft packed spots. The draw is excellent, could not ask for better.
The first few puff are mild with a nice maduro sweetness and chocolate note. Further in I'm getting a some cedar and mild spice. The ash has held on fantastically, over an inch and a half.
This third brought a nice fruity flavor and backed off the chocolate a little Towards the end, I'm getting a little more pepper and a nice creaminess. Everything is still in the mild-medium strength range
This third is very woody, with lots of cedar and a little almond in the background. Never had to touch the burn.
This was a very enjoyable cigar. The transitions in flavor were great and every third was very flavorful, all while not being overpowering. I would put this in the same category as a Padron X000 as far as delivering solid, predictable flavors while performing fantastically on the draw and burn.
