Comments about C & C Churchill Corojo Single Cigar:
A number of C & C Churchill Corojo Single Cigars came to me via auction on the Thompson site at a lower price than indicated. After a few months of ageing, I have smoked a number of these cigars and have been impressed by their consistency.
The cigar presents beautifully at a tall 7" with a beautiful brownish/red wrapper which looks more like Rosado or Colorado in the sunlight. The initial aroma of the body and foot is of unabashed spice and light pepper notes. The construction of the cigar is first rate with tight seams and no soft spots.
Upon lighting, the cigar draws slightly firm (preferred). The taste of mild tobacco is reinforced by a robust spice and background pepper notes. This taste profile remains consistent from each cigar and throughout the smoke. The ash falls off short of one inch, and the burn is straight throughout the experience. I put the cigar down after one hour, having smoked it to the nub.
In conclusion, this is an excellent cigar for those looking for a step up from mild flavor profiles. The cigar is hearty but not overbearing and makes for a very satisfying smoking experience. Price point is reasonable but can be gotten for even less at Thompson Auction or special. Highly recommended. Enjoy.
