I have been smoking A&C Grenadiers for about 20 years. They are a great everyday cigar. I usually buy them from local tobacco outlets because they are usually fairly fresh and not dried out. The ones I got from Thompson Cigar taste like they just came from the factory, and at a better price than tobacco outlets. I am very pleased with the quality.

A very good cigar been smoking these for many years. My wife likes the smell lets me smoke in the house in my mancave, which is also the gator room. This cigar is classie nice look and taste good. I guess I will keep on smoking these until I die.

Excellent for the day to day smoke breaks at work. Have a cutter and a cigar case. Good for three smoke breaks, smoking a third at a time. Easy to light, good flavor, good draw. Recomend cut the end with the cutter for a better draw. Forgot your cutter, no problem, still smokeable without cutting the end. Size is perfect for quick smokes.

I've smoked these cigars for 25 years, and I still enjoy the flavor. Unfortunately, after 100 years in business, the manufacturer hasn't figured out its construction problems. Some cigars burn like paper, others have a hard draw. Out of a box of 50, 10 are what I'd call great, the other 40 need to be dealt with, (cut in half; hard draw, pinched; poor burn or burn down the side).

Where they are machine made there are some issues with a few cigars having holes in the wrappers or broken cigsars but they are far between.

I purchased this box to share with my co-workers as a tribute to my late grandfather who recently passed away. The cigars have a smaller ring gauge than I prefer for my own enjoyment, but had a fairly light draw with a consistent mild- to medium-taste. While these cigars are not 100 percent tobacco filled, they have a machine rolled tobacco wrapper that held together well and was easy to light, with a fairly even burn.
The AyC Grenadier was effective for my purpose; as a crowd pleaser to a large group of people who were not necessarily frequent cigar smokers. However, aficianados may find the Grenadier's mild manners and filler blend to be a bit too pedestrian.

There is a hint of vanilla in this cigar. Off putting at first but I use it as a change of pace.
